‘I’m Mamamia’s fashion writer. Here’s what I’m buying in the Boxing Day sales.’

Two traditions occur the day after Christmas that we Aussies take very seriously.

1. The Boxing Day test match at the MCG.

2. Boxing Day sales.

Watch: Justifying an online shopping spree. Post continues below.

You would think by the time December 26 rolls around, we’d be all shopped out. But after Black Friday, Boxing Day is the biggest retail event of the year, with brands competing to offer the best deals.

It’s also the perfect time to spend any money or gift cards you received over Christmas – which is why I’m here to tell you exactly where to spend your money, what deals are on offer and also, what I’m planning on purchasing.

If you’re like me and avoid going to the store at all costs, then you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a ton of online sales you can take advantage of from the comfort of your couch.

No lines, no people and no fighting over the last Dutch oven.

Before I get into the sales though, take a look at what I’ve added to my cart ready to snap up once the sales hit.
