All the other stars who missed out on Oscar nominations, aside from Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig.

Other notable snubs include Leonardo DiCaprio missing out for Best Actor for his Killers of the Flower Moon performance. The film was curiously snubbed for Best Adapted Screenplay despite receiving 10 nominations in a multitude of categories.

But there were two films arguably done dirtier than any other: May December and The Color Purple.

May December failed to receive much love despite its critically acclaimed performances with the three leads – Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore, and Charles Melton – all omitted from their predicted categories of Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Supporting Actor.

The film also didn’t get acknowledged for Best Picture, which was the same story for The Color Purple, another critically acclaim women-led movie criminally underpraised this awards season.

Danielle Brooks was the only star to score a nomination for Best Supporting Actress with Fantasia Barrino and Taraji P. Henson both missing out.

Past Lives failed to get the acclaim it deserved with Greta Lee being snubbed for Best Actress and Celine Song going unacknowledged for Best Director. Yikes.
